EDITING REEL

As a detail-oriented video editor, I specialize in creating tight, impactful edits to tell a story and keep audiences engaged and watching. I understand the importance of using music to set the tone for each story and obsess over finding the perfect track for every project.

UNITED NATIONS FOUNDATION

At UNF, I  produce and edit videos, social media graphics and animations, focused on gender equality, public health and climate change. My work has been featured at the UN General Assembly and on the NASDAQ billboard in Times Square. I also  produced all campaign videos for the multimillion dollar COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund benefitting the World Health Organization.

PERSONAL PROJECTS

I met Amelia and Janet in October of 2018 when I produced a video for the Fall Workshop at Syracuse University. I started this project as a way to tell a story about what it’s like to raise a child with Down Syndrome. What I didn’t expect was to make such a meaningful connection with the pair.

I’ve always felt that there is magic in old home movies. There’s beauty in the nostalgia of them and it gives viewers an intimate glimpse into another moment in time. With this particular project, I took inspiration from home movies in order to capture the magic of the mundane.

The first time I baked a pie with my grandmother, I slashed my finger open with an apple peeler and was berated for almost getting blood in the apples.  Baking pies is serious business

The responsibility of pie making always falls onto the shoulders of my grandmother, affectionately referred to as Mamie, as she has always been much too cool to be a “grandma.”  I began helping Mamie bake pies when I was 12, and in her small kitchen, I learned so much more than simple baking techniques. Those hours spent in her kitchen have become some of my most cherished memories and I wanted to document them the best way I knew how.

This project serves a a quick glimpse into Mamie's kitchen

While at Nazareth College, I found my love of producing and editing videos. During my undergrad career, I worked as a marketing assistant for the Nazareth College Arts Center, where I created promotional and behind-the-scenes videos for a variety of productions and performances.

While at Syracuse University, I took on a semester long project, speaking with local women working in fields where they are the minority. Entitled, “Under Represented,” these shorts look at the struggles and triumphs of women breaking down barriers in their community.
